Willow River State Park

Today we went to Willow River State Park. We wanted to check out the camp spot we have reserved for July and August. It's very nice and right on a playground so Destiny is going to be in Heaven. I didn't even know that was there when I booked the weekend. They have a beautiful lake and trail to a water fall, that's the walk we took today...AWESOME DAY!Destiny and Daddy Chad walking the trail and talking. She's a girl and never really stops.

Destiny brought her camera, grandma is so proud. She's been taking pictures of everything this weekend... a scrap booker in the making. It's a tinker bell camera and I can hear it saying "say tinker bell" every time she clicks.

Here are the falls. More than worth the aches and pains I'll suffer tomorrow. I'm happy we went today because I don't think they will be flowing like this in July and August.

Memorial Day

Here is me and my neighbor Les. We raised the Coast Guard flag together. Now we need to get him into the Honor guard so he has a uniform.

This is me pretending to raise the flag because everyone forgot to take my picture when it was actually happening.

The service also had a C-130 fly over, bag pipes, high school band, men choir, and a parachute jumper that delivered a flag for part of the service. It was awesome service. The Honor guard 21 gun salute was right on and taps was the normal heart tug.
