It's been a hectic year already and time is flying. I feel like my head is spinning and I need to get some control. As I sit here looking out my studio window and see piles, upon piles of snow... I think "will this stuff EVER go away?" Then I wonder what kind of mess we will deal with in the spring time and how much time will we have to plant and grow our gardens this year? Any guesses? I had high hopes for an abundant garden this year... it's slowly fading.
Here's my little buddy I've been sharing some time with. His name is Pocket, aka... boobala, blue fart and funny man.
This is actually a hamster wheel that he loves playing on. It's hysterical watching him run on it or he likes to stand on the top and go spinning around until it stops. He's just a baby and really needs entertainment. He is a parrotlet, the size of a parakeet without the tail. He is a parrot, quiet cute sounds and songs. He's learning to "kiss mommy", loves his showers in the morning and is overall spoiled birdie as you can see by his set up below. I did take his mirror away because it was distracting from our training and bonding time together. His area is on my desk so we spend lots of time together. He can be as messy as me and we do fight over my pretty papers that I use for making cards and scrap book pages.
I love all the names you've given Pocket....or should I say Sybil...nothing like giving an identity crisis to a bird?!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear he likes making paper crafts with you, especially when you line the bottom of his cage with the ugly patterned paper.
